The RYA Start Yachting Course is a 2-day course for the complete novice, or for someone who wants to try sailing for the first time to get a feel for the sport. The RYA Start Yachting course is a great introduction to sailing and seamanship and will give you a basic knowledge of keeping a watch, handling ropes and boat etiquette.

These early stages of yachting can often be the most important and ONDECK Sailing will give you the right foundations to start properly. The RYA Start Yachting course can also be put towards your Competent Crew, so you only have to complete a further 3 days or 2 weekends to achieve it.
